Membership is open to organisations, government bodies and individuals that have operations in Australia, New Zealand and overseas who share a common interest in CCP beneficial re-use for industry, community and environment.
The Association’s constitution sets out our governance, membership structure and rights. In summary, the Association has three grades of membership:
- Full membership is open to producers and marketers of coal combustion products produced by burning pulverised coal in power stations. The annual membership fee for Full Members is determined by the quantity of CCPs sold by the member in the previous financial year. The Full Member minimum annual fee for producers and marketers is currently $6,600, (inclusive of GST) and is based on annual volumes of production or sales of coal combustion products. Full members are entitled to vote at all Association meetings.
- Associate and Overseas Membership is open to any organisation or individual interested in the objects of the Association. Associate and Overseas Members are encouraged to attend and participate in all association activities and meetings, however, they do not have voting rights. The annual Associate membership fee is $1,100 (inclusive of GST), and overseas membership is $750. Associate and Overseas Members are encouraged to attend and participate in all Association activities and meetings, however, they do not have voting rights.
The association committees operate on the basis of consensus and where required the majority rule applies. Consultation and cooperation are encouraged for the development of all positions to be taken by the association on the matters of CCPs. The governance of the association provides appropriate structures and mechanisms for member participation, consistent with the rights associated with each grade.
