About the ADAA

Australian producers and marketers of Power Station ash formed the Association in 1991, with the primary objective to investigate and develop market opportunities in the use of Ash materials.

Primarily being achieved through increasing user awareness of the ecological sustainable benefits arising through increased utilisation of this industrial by-product which benefits industry members the environment and the community as a whole.

 

The Association has three grades of membership - 

 

1. Full Members

2. Associate Members

3. Overseas Members

 

 

Full membership is open to producers and marketers of coal ash produced in boilers burning pulverised coal in power stations. The annual membership fee for full members is determined from the amount of ash sold by the member in the previous calendar year.

 

The minimum fee for full members is currently AUD $4,400 (incl GST) for producers and marketers per annum. Full members have voting rights at all association meetings.

 

Associate and Overseas membership is open to any organisation or individual interested in the objects of the Association. The current fee for these grades of membership is $825 (incl GST) per annum. Associate and Overseas members are welcome to attend all Association meetings and to participate in discussions, however they do not have voting rights.
