The Concrete Institute of Australia’s Biennial National Conference, Concrete 2015 was held at the Pullman Hotel, Albert Park, Melbourne from 30th August to 2nd September 2015.

31/8/2015 - 10:20am: We have arrived at Concrete 2015! Stephen Foster has given the first presentation and delegates & exhibitors are now networking in the main hall.

31/8/2015 - 1:00pm: After the morning of presentations, posters and powerpoints, the delagets move back to the main hall for lunch.

31/8/2015 - 3:30pm: the afternoon sessions focused on topics of:

1) Repair and Retrofitting
2) Fibres/FRP Research and Applications
3) Concrete Materials and Performance
4) Durability and Serviceability

31/8/2015 - 4:00pm: The delagets move back into the ballrooms for the final sessions, will focus on Failure Mode and Risk Analysis, Fibres/FRP Research and Applications, Admixtures and Polymers and Geopolymers and Non-Traditional Binder Concrete.

31/8/2015 - 6:00pm: Let the Cocktail Welcome Reception begin!

1/9/2015 - 9:00am: Keynote 2 for the opening of day 2 is focused on Low Carbon Emission Geopolymer Concrete: Research Into Practice Of A Low Carbon Technology.

1/9/2015 - 11:00am: Craig Heidrich is giving his presentation on "Challenges Contemporizing Australian Standards: Supplementary Cementitious Materials." The ballroom is over capacity, and people are standing in the aisles! 

1/9/2015 - 1:00pm: Lunch breakout session/networking between exhibitors and delegates.
