Membership is open to organisations, government bodies and individuals that have operations in Australia, New Zealand and overseas who share a common interest in CCP beneficial re-use for industry, community and environment.
The Association’s constitution sets out our governance, membership structure and rights. In summary, the Association has three (3) categories of membership:
- Producer Member is open to producers (coal fired power stations operators) of coal combustion products produced by burning pulverised coal in power station. The annual membership fee is determined by the quantity of CCPs sold by the member in the previous financial year. The minimum annual fee for producers members is $11,000 (inclusive of GST). Producer members are entitled to vote at all Association meetings, nominate representatives to Committees, including the Board of Directors.
- Marketing Member is open to marketers of coal combustion products produced by burning pulverised coal in coal fired power stations and are encouraged to attend and participate in all association activities and meetings, however, they do not have voting rights. The annual fee for marketing members is $6,600, (inclusive of GST). Marketing members are entitled nominate representatives to Committees, but not the Board of Directors.
- Associate and Overseas Member is open to any organisation or individual interested in the objects of the Association. Associate and Overseas Members are encouraged to attend and participate in all association activities and meetings, however, they do not have voting rights. The annual Associate membership fee is $1,100 (inclusive of GST), and overseas membership is $750.
The association committees operate on the basis of consensus and where required the majority rule applies. Consultation and cooperation are encouraged for the development of all positions to be taken by the association on the matters of CCPs. The governance of the association provides appropriate structures and mechanisms for member participation, consistent with the rights associated with each grade.
